JIPMER Announces Admissions for MS & MD Programmes

Puducherry based Jawaharlal Institute of Postgraduate Medical Education and Research (JIPMER) invites applications for admission to its Master of Surgery (MS) and Doctor of Medicine (MD) and other programmes offered in various disciplines. The session for these programmes would start from January 2017.

Educational Qualification for JIPMER Admissions:

The candidates intending to take the course must have passed the Bachelor of Medicine and Bachelor of Surgery (MBBS) and it should be recognised by the Medical Council of India (MCI)

How to Apply for JIPMER Admissions:

The website of the institute contains the application form and candidates can apply online

Application Fee for JIPMER Admissions:

Rs. 1200 is the application fee for the general candidates

Rs. 800 is the application fee for the SC/ST candidates

However, the OPH candidates are exempted from paying the application fee

Selection Procedure for JIPMER Admissions:

The candidates will be selected on the basis of their performance in the entrance test of the institute

• 26 October 2016, online registration closes
• 16 November 2016, is the date to download hall ticket
• 11 December 2016 is the date of entrance examination
