JNTU to Organise International Conference on Computational Intelligence
Hyderabad-based Jawaharlal Nehru Technological University will organise a three days International Conference on Computational Intelligence and Informatics.
Hyderabad-based Jawaharlal Nehru Technological University will organise a three-day International Conference on Computational Intelligence and Informatics. The conference will commence on September 25, 2017, and continue till September 27, 2017.
This is the second International Conference on Computational Intelligence and Informatics organised at the University, that will focus on the recent advancement and innovation in Computer Science and Information Technology. The conference will see participation of several scientists who will take up different aspects of information technology such as -
- New issues of information technology
- How to tackle the issues
- Trends in computational technology
- Finding advanced solutions to the new problems in IT
It will also give an opportunity to the industry and research community to share their experiences and recent development in computational intelligence as well as informatics.

The University also plan to organise a pre-conference workshop on 25th May and a conference on 26th and 27th September, 2017 under the theme of Data Analytics and Information Processing.
It is a public university founded in 1965. It is one of the leading engineering universities of the country that mainly focuses on engineering science. Previously the University was known as the Nagarjuna Sagar Engineering College. The University received an A-Grade status by NAAC.

Around 1,000 students enrolled in the University that offers Post Graduate Programs in Computer Sciences and Information Technology, that are very popular. It also offers several short-term courses in software technology areas. Looking at the growing demand of IT education, the university established a School of Information Technology in 2000-2001 and brought all the IT and computer courses under the control of School of IT.
