JoSAA Counselling 2022: Important Instructions regarding Payment of Partial Admission Fee

The Central Seat Allocation Board has already ended the JoSAA 2022 6th round counselling process. At the end of 6th round of JoSAA counselling, the candidates, who have been provisionally allocated a seat to the NIT+ system and also pay the seat acceptance fee (SAF), should pay the Partial Admission Fee (PAF) online via the JoSAA portal. Kindly note, the candidates, who have already been allotted seats to any round of JoSAA counselling and have not cancelled or withdrawn the allotment, are only eligible to pay for JoSAA counselling 2022 PAF. The date for paying the partial admission fee (PAF) is from October 19 to 21, 2022 (till 5 pm) and the payment should be done online mode, at JoSAA.nic.in.

SC/ST/PwD category | 20000 |
Kindly note, if the candidates whose categories changed from SC/ST category to GENERAL category or from PwD to Non-PwD status, then they should pay Rs. 60000 as PAF. This amount will include the differential amount of 20000 between SAFs of the updated Gen/OBC-NCL/Gen-EWS status and the earlier SC/ST/PwD status.

JoSAA Counselling 2022: Important Instructions Regarding PAF Payment
To pay the PAF amount, the candidates should use UPI/ Net Banking/ Credit Card/ Debit card. Apart from that, the candidates can pay through an e-challan of the State Bank of India, then download the form and upload it from the JoSAA portal upon login. - The PAF payment will be adjusted against the admission fee
- Non-payment of the PAF within the stipulated time will lead to the rejection of offered/ allocated seats by the students. This refers that if the candidates will fail to pay the PAF within the scheduled time and date, then they will be forfeited the provisionally allotted seats
- The SAF will be refunded once the processing fee will be deducted
