JoSAA 1st Mock Allotment 2022: Joint Seat Allocation Authority has released the first JoSAA Mock Allotment 2022 result today at josaa.nic.in. The link to check the mock allotment has been activated at 11:30 AM on the ‘Candidate Login portal of the JoSAA website. The candidates will have to check the 1st mock allotment status of JoSAA and edit the college options accordingly. The mock allotment of JoSAA is not the final allotment but it just gives a tentative idea of the admission chances. Only those candidates who filled choices till 8:00 PM on September 17 shall be included in the first mock allotment of JoSAA.

Here are the important dates pertaining to JoSAA Mock Allotment 2022. There will be 2 rounds of mock allotment followed by main seat allotment rounds -

The candidates who completed JoSAA choice filling till September 17 must note that the JoSAA mock allotment will be directly available on the candidate login, and there will be no separate intimation on the official website. After checking the first mock allotment, the candidates the choices and wait for the second mock allotment result. This is an excellent opportunity for candidates to know their tentative allotment status and aspire for better admission chances.

While editing the choices after the JoSAA mock allotment result 2022, the candidates will have to check the previous years’ opening and closing ranks so that they will get a basic clarity on which institutes/ courses to choose as the first preference. The first preference plays an important role in deciding the JoSAA seat allotment as the admission authority gives first priority to the first college & course preference opted by the candidate.
