JoSAA Round 2 Counselling 2022: Check dates for choice filling & seat allotment

The JoSAA Round 2 Counselling 2022 will begin on September 28 as per the schedule. The Round 1 Seat Allotment will close on September 27, 2022. The Joint Seat Allocation Authority will release the JoSAA Round 2 Seat Allotment 2022 online through the official website based on seat availability and candidates' choices.  Further, candidates who have not been listed in Round 1 may have a chance in Round 2 JoSAA Counselling 2022.

Candidates who choose to Float or Slide in Round 1 Seat Allotment will be listed in the Round 2 Seat Allotment. Candidates will have to log in using the login credentials to check the seat allotment as soon as released. Those candidates who are allotted seats in the JoSAA Round 2 Seat Allotment will have to report online for counselling and complete the admission process.

Here are some important instructions that candidates must follow in the JoSAA Round 2 Counselling 2022: 

• Candidates who have been shortlisted in the JoSAA Round 1 Counselling 2022 and have been selected to Float need not pay the seat acceptance fee again. The previously paid seat acceptance fee will be considered as the seat acceptance fee for round 2. 
• Candidates who have chosen to Slide will also be allotted seats in the Round 2 seat Allotment. Those who choose to accept the seat must pay the seat acceptance fee and complete the admission process. 
• Candidates who do not respond or report online for the JoSAA Round 2 Counselling 2022 will be removed from the allotment list.
