JoSAA Round 2 Seat Allotment Result 2024 LIVE: The Joint Seat Allocation Authority (JoSAA) has announced the result for JoSAA Round 2 seat allotment 2024 on June 27. The second allotment result is published on its official website at josaa.admissions.nic.in. Now that the result is out, JoSAA Round 2 allotment result is accessible using the candidate's JEE Main application number and password. The online reporting has commenced with the release of JoSAA second allotment list and will continue until its deadline of July 2.

JoSAA Round 2 Seat Allotment Result Link 2024
The direct link for Round 2 seat allotment is shared on the official website and same is provided here. JEE candidates shall enter their JEE Main application number and password to access JoSAA Round 2 result 2024.
JoSAA Round 1 seat allotment window was closed on June 24. The candidates who opted for either Float or Slide or were not allotted any seat in Round 1 will be allotted a seat in JoSAA Round 2, subject to their ranks and option preferences. Admission to all NITs, IIITs, and GFTIs is done according to the candidates’ JEE Main ranks while IIT admissions are as per JEE Advanced ranks. After the seat allotment of the second round is out, the council will shortly release JoSAA Round 2 cutoff for all institutes.
JoSAA Round 2 Post-Allotment Options 2024
A student will have three options to do after the seat allotment result for JoSAA Round 2 Counselling 2024 has been released:

Can I pay the JoSAA seat acceptance fees in offline mode?
No, the candidates who will be allotted a seat via the round 2 JoSAA seat allotment process, should pay the seat acceptance fees only in the online mode, that is using the Net Banking/ Debit Card/ UPI/ Credit card, or can use e-challan of State Bank of India. The last date for paying seat acceptance fees is Rs July 1, 2024 (till 5 PM).

JoSAA Round 2 Seat Allotment: Remittance of Partial Admission Fees
At the end of JoSAA 5th round counselling, the candidates who have allotted a provisional seat (that cannot be cancelled or withdrawn) in NIT+ system, should pay the Partial Admission Fees along with the seat acceptance fees from the JoSAA portal. Not paying of the partial admission fees will lead to the rejection of the offered/ allocated seat. Note, that the JoSAA partial admission fee is Rs 20000 for the candidates. The payment should be done using the debit card/ credit card/ UPI/ net banking.

JoSAA Round 2 Seat Allotment: Is there any option of withdrawing of allotted seats?
Candidates who will be allotted a seat to IITs and want to withdraw the seat after acceptance, then they can withdraw it till the fourth round of JoSAA counselling that is till July 16, 2024. But if the candidates want to withdraw the seats of NIT+ system, then they can do it by reporting online and follow the necessary steps contained in clause 66 up to the final round of allocation. In the case of seat withdrawal, the candidates will get a refund, after deducting the processing fees of Rs 7000. Also, the candidates will not be allowed to participate in the JoSAA 2024 counselling process (in the subsequent rounds) further.

What if candidates fail to pay JoSAA round 2 seat acceptance fees before last date?
Candidates should make the payment after accepting the JoSAA round 2 seat allotment by the stipulated date, otherwise, the allotted seats will be cancelled automatically. Also note, that the cancellation of a seat will not be reversible and the authority will not further entertain any request for the same, since the entire process is computerized.

- Candidates should also upload the pre-requisites before the self-reporting process
Note, that the candidates should not fail to report to the allotted colleges before the scheduled date, then the round 2 seat allotment will be cancelled.

Tentatively it will be released 4 to 5 hours later of releasing the seat allotment result.
