JoSAA Round 3 Seat Allotment Result 2024: JoSAA released the third seat allotment result today, July 4, 2024, at josaa.nic.in. As per the official schedule, JoSAA Round 3 Seat Allotment 2024 result was to be released at 5 PM, but it was delayed till 8 PM. There is usually no delay in the declaration of the allotment result, though the cutoff is released later. As the JoSAA Allotment 2024 is released, candidates will be able to check their allotment status at the given link by logging into their dashboard. To log in, applicants will be required to enter their JEE Main application number, password, and security pin. The direct link to check the allotment result will be added here once it is out at the portal.

  JoSAA Round 3 Seat Allotment: What is the difference between the Freeze and Float option?

  If the candidates are satisfied and want to take admission to the allotted college, then they should choose the freeze option after round 3. Note, that in such a case, the candidates will not be allowed to participate in the next round of counselling. Whereas if the candidates choose the Float option, then they can accept the current seat and can also wait for the next round of counselling. If they will get seat upgradation in the next round, then they can do the same. Otherwise, they can continue the current seat allotment.

  There is a possibility of releasing the JoSAA round 3 college-wise cutoff today by 10 PM since the authority usually takes 4 to 5 hours to release it after releasing the respective round of seat allotment result. However, in round 2, the college wise allotment was published on the next day of seat allotment result, around 12 PM. Hence, the candidates are advised to keep checking the official website or they can stay connected with the live blog to get the latest updates.
