A 28 days Judge Advocates Advance Course (JAAC-25), a career course for the officers of JAG Army, Navy and Air Force, concluded at Institute of Military Law on 21 May 2016. The valedictory ceremony was presided over by Maj Gen Rajinder Kumar, SM VSM, Judge Advocate General (Army).
In the welcome address, Brig Vijay Kumar extended a hearty welcome to the JAG who is a highly decorated General officer and a role model for the rank and file in the department. In his valedictory address, the General officer expressed his profound appreciation to Brigadier Vijay Kumar, Commandant and Col (Dr) AK Vashishta, Dy Commandant, and the team IML for their outstanding performance in training the officers from Army, Navy and friendly foreign countries in the field of Military and allied laws.During the day, the JAG also laid the foundation of the Security Wall around IML and inspected the sports facility for trainee officers at IML.
He expressed satisfaction on the efforts being made by the IML in carving a niche at the international level.
An alumnus of ILS, Pune, Maj Gen Rajinder Kumar, SM VSM, Judge Advocate General (Army), is Chief Legal Advisor to the Chief of Army Staff at Army HQs, New Delhi, on matters Military and International and performs an important role in the maintenance of discipline in the Army.
