K L University of Andhra Pradesh Organises Science Expo
Chief Minister lauded the efforts of the students and suggested to innovate more devices. He promised that he would extend his support to the students for the further development of their devices.
The engineering wing of Koneru Lakshmaiah University organised a Science Expo on October 5, 2016. The engineering students of the college developed various devices used in agriculture and displayed in the exhibition. Chief Minister of Andhra Pradesh, Chandra Babu Naidu inaugurated the science expo. He went around the exhibition and asked the students about the functioning of the devices developed by them.

The students developed an app which consists of various techniques that are practised in cultivation. The CM asked the students to explain the functioning of the app and extended his support towards the efforts of the students. He also suggested them to include functionalities that could help determine the price of the crops basis its production.
The students displayed various devices which are used in cultivation. Some of the students developed a weather forecast system with 97 percent accuracy. They said that the system is useful to predict the weather 15 days in advance. The students also displayed a drone which could be helpful for the farmers in spraying pesticides and insecticides.
The CM lauded the efforts of the students and encouraged them to innovate. He promised that he would extend his support to the students for the further development of their devices.
