Karnataka NEET Counselling Expected Date 2024: The Karnataka Examinations Authority will start the Karnataka NEET counselling process tentatively after one month of releasing the NEET result. Hence, it can be assumed that the Karnataka NEET counselling will begin tentatively in the first week of July 2024 with the registration process. For instance, in 2023, the NEET result was released on June 13, whereas the Karnataka NEET counselling was started on July 14. At first, the authority released the detailed notification on July 14 and from the same date, the counselling registration process was started.

The Karnataka NEET counselling will be held in two rounds and also there will be one mop-up round. The counselling will be conducted for MBBS/BDS admission to 85% of quota seats. Whereas there will be 100% seats for admission to the private medical colleges. However, the final seat allotment will be done based on the merit of the candidates. The authority will release the Karnataka NEET counselling eligibility criteria along with the complete schedule along with the releasing of official notice.

Karnataka NEET Counselling 2024: Eligibility Criteria

- Candidates should get the category-wise minimum cutoff marks in the NEET 2024 exam
- The OCI/NRI citizens should show the valid documents
- Candidates should pass the 2nd PUC or Class 12 or equivalent exam with a minimum of 50% aggregate marks in Physics, Chemistry and Biology (40% for reserved category candidates). Note, that non-Karnataka residents are not eligible under the reservation criteria for the respective counselling process
