Kashmir Valley NEET Aspirants Get Four New Centres
NTA has set up four additional NEET centres in Kashmir Valley so that none of the aspirants have to travel outside. As per the reports, a total of 9250 medical aspirants will appear for NEET 2019 in Kashmir Valley.
The National Testing Agency (NTA) has allotted four new additional test centres in Kashmir Valley to accommodate all the students appearing in the National Eligibility Cum Entrance Test (NEET 2019). According to the reports, over 9250 candidates from Kashmir Valley will appear in the NEET exam this year
Earlier, the National Testing Agency had already allotted NEET exam centres to accommodate 5750 NEET aspirants from Kashmir Valley. However, the remaining 3500 aspirants have demanded additional NEET centres to be in the Valley so that they do not have to travel outside and they can appear for the exam in the Valley itself.
One of the NTA officials informed that to cater to the demand of the NEET aspirants, four additional NEET centres will be set up in the Valley and no one will be required to travel outside. The four additional NEET centres will be set up in the Gandhi Memorial College, Kashmir University, Kashmir Harvard School, and Green Valley School.

The NTA official further informed that the NEET aspirants were informed about their NEET centre allotments in Kashmir Valley through SMS service.

NEET is one of the most popular medical entrance tests in India. The exam is conducted for admission to MBBS and BDS course in government medical and private colleges. For this academic year, the NEET exam is to take place on 5th May 2019. The National Test Agency conducts the NEET exam in India.
