KCET 2022 Revised Rank List Date
The expected dates are as follows:
Karnataka HC Judgement Date | September 23 |
KCET Revised Rank List 2022 Date | by the end of this week or next week |
As per the revised Karnataka Government Proposal on KCET Ranks 2022, 50:50 weightage will be considered for both regular and repeater students but a calculated marks deduction for KCET repeater students will be implemented. After calculating a normalized score for PCM subjects for 2022 and 2021 batches, the following deduction will be applicable for KCET repeater students in their 2nd PUC marks:
- Physics: 6 Marks deduction
- Chemistry: 5 Marks deduction
- Mathematics: 7 Marks deduction
- Overall: 6% Deduction
For example, if a repeater candidate scored 95 marks in the 2nd PUC 2021 Physics paper, the actual score considered for KCET 2022 Rank calculation = 95 – 6 (for Physics) = 89 Marks out of 100. And then as per these 89 marks, a 50:50 weightage will be applicable for the preparation of KCET Rank List 2022.
