KCET 2nd Extended Round Final Seat Allotment 2024 was to be released on October 8 but due to the exclusion of 140 eligible candidates in the provisional allotment, the final result is now postponed.
KCET 2nd Extended Round Final Seat Allotment 2024: Karnataka Examinations Authority was to release the link for KCET second round extended seat allotment result 2024 on its official website on October 8 as per the initial schedule. The authority released the provisional allotment on October 7 and objections against it were accepted until 11 AM on October 8. A total of 140 objections were received from candidates who exercised Choice 2 and paid the fees but were not allotted a seat. These 140 candidates were excluded from the second extended round provisional seat allotment. Given the same and the time required to process the allotment again, KEA has postponed the final allotment result. However, a date for the same is not yet declared and the same will be informed shortly at cetonline.karnataka.gov.in.

KEA will activate the link for the second extended final allotment shortly. The candidates who were waiting for this result can now access their scorecards using their CET Number at cetonline.karnataka.gov.in. The final allotment is released after considering objections (if any) raised against the provisional allotment until 11 AM on October 8. The students shortlisted in the second extended round have to pay the partial seat acceptance fee and download the admission order between October 9 to 14, 2024. However, the candidates who have paid the admission counselling fee in a previous round should not pay the fee. The amount will be adjusted to confirm this round.
The students who have been allotted a seat and are still in a dilemma of whether to accept the seat or not should not overthink their decision. As this is an extended round and being conducted on the vacant seats only, we recommend the candidates to accept the allotted seat and proceed for his/her admission.
The last date to report to the allotted college in the KCET 2nd extended round final seat allotment 2024 is 5:30 PM on October 15. Any chances of further extended rounds is unlikely to be announced.
