KCET Option Entry Dates 2023: For the mock round and subsequent counselling, the Karnataka Examinations Authority (KEA) has declared the schedule on August 6, 2023, at its official website @kea.kar.nic.in. The first step after the verification of documents is the release of the verification slip and as per the schedule, it was released a few days back. The option entry of KCET 2023 commenced on August 6 and will be available at the portal until August 9, 2023. It is to be noted that only those candidates with access to the verification slip are eligible to fill out the option form.
The KEA will conduct a mock allotment round to give an idea about what college the candidate may get based on their preferences and rank. Based on the options entered now, the mock allocation will happen and if required, the candidates will have the option to edit their preferences later based on the actual seat allotment for Round 1 take place.

Eligible candidates are to submit their college-branch preferences for the seat allocation process as per the following schedule:

| Publication of mock allotment result | August 11, 2023 |

| Publication of Round 1 seat allotment result | August 16, 2023 |
It is to be noted that, if necessary, in any case, the KEA will revise these dates just as it did for the verification of documents. But candidates must treat these dates as final and register their option preferences as per the same.
