KCET Round 2 Option Entry 2022 has commenced online on November 18 at cetonline.karnataka.gov.in. Obtain the direct link to KCET option form round 2 here, along with important dates and instructions regarding it.
KCET Round 2 Option Entry 2022: Improving the counselling process, the Karnataka Examinations Authority (KEA) now provides candidates with the option to edit their option form before each round of seat allotment. This year, for KCET round 2 counselling, the option entry or modification link has been activated on November 18. The link will be accessible through the candidate login at cetonline.karnataka.gov.in, KEA’s official website. The option form modification will be available until 6 PM of November 19.
To aid the candidates pick out the best option choices at their merit, KEA will also release KCET Round 2 Seat Matrix 2022 today as well before the option form is made available. Candidates are advised to refer to the vacancies as well as the cutoff of round 1 before adding option choices.

KCET Round 2 Option Entry 2022 Instructions
Take note of these guidelines before finalizing your option form:
- The option form will only be available online at cetonline.karnataka.gov.in, accessible using the candidate’s CET number. Submissions made from any other websites/offline methods will be rejected.
- A computer shall be used for the option entry instead of mobile and an updated version of Chrome/Edge is advised to be used.
- The option preferences are to be entered in descending order, i.e., the most-preferred college must be #1 and thus following afterwards.
- A candidate can exercise as many options as he/she wants as there is no upper limit.
- It is very important to remember: options are NOT to be added stream-wise. Preference numbers must be unique overall. Even if the candidate is eligible and wishes to enter options for both engineering and agriculture, there cannot be a separate preference 1 for engineering and another preference 1 for agriculture. A choice between either must be made by the candidate.
- The option form can be edited any number of times before the deadline but once it is confirmed, it cannot be edited further. All candidates shall confirm their option form before the deadline.
