KISS University Bags Another Guinness World Record Title
KISS University has won Guinness World Record for the most number of people brushing the teeth simultaneously. It also holds Guinness World Record for most simultaneous high fives.
Kalinga Institute of Social Sciences (KISS) has bagged Guinness World Record for the most number of people brushing the teeth simultaneously. To make a record 26,382 students of KISS University brushed their teeth simultaneously.
The record was made when the students of the KISS participated in the awareness program hosted by the Indian Association of Public Health Dentistry-IAPHD and Colgate-Palmolive (India) Ltd to celebrate oral health on the Brush Day.
Colgate Palmolive India Ltd has collaborated with IAPD and KISS University to generate awareness about Oral Care in the country and its importance. Prof. Achyuta Samanta, Founder, Kalinga Institute of Social Sciences (KISS) expressed his happiness stating that this is the 4th Guinness World Record set by the university and this proves that the university believes in the holistic development of the students. Setting the 4th Guinness Record demonstrates the university's commitment to teaching and promoting awareness about health-related issues.
Ram Raghavan, Managing Director, Colgate-Palmolive (India) Limited addressed the audience during the event and thanked Prof. Achyuta Samanta, Founder of KISS University and Dr. Sabyasachi Saha, Secretary-Indian Association of Public Health Dentistry (IAPD), for coming together and promoting awareness about Oral Health. According to him setting the record is one of the important milestones.

Dr. Sabyasachi Saha, Secretary, IAPHD said that the record is an important milestone and this will raise Awareness about Oral Hygiene.
Earlier, the record for the most number of people brushing teeth simultaneously was set by DPS New Delhi students. 16,414 students participated in the event back then.
