Kohinoor International Management Institute (KIMI) Ties Up with University College Birmingham
- Through this significant collaboration, the students of KIMI will get an opportunity to pursue an undergraduate degree programme at University College Birmingham (UCB).

One of the leading educational institutes in the country, KIMI or Kohinoor International Management Institute has entered into a significant collaboration with University College Birmingham (UK). The main purpose of this collaboration is to provide an opportunity to the students of KIMI to get a degree from University College Birmingham. It is one of the leading hospitality and management institutes in the United Kingdom. A Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) was signed between the two institutes recently.
Through this significant collaboration, the students of KIMI will get an opportunity to pursue an undergraduate degree programme at University College Birmingham (UCB). However, the students need to pursue two years of the course at KIMI and then proceed to UCB. The management programme offered by KIMI consists of eight semesters. The students must pursue four semesters at KIMI and four semesters at UCB.
After the completion of course at UCB, the students will get a British degree. The students will also have a chance to opt for an internship in an international environment.
Prof. Pyer of UCB explained that India has been witnessing a rise in foreign tourist arrivals since the past few years. India is most popular for its hospitality and tourism domain. He expressed his happiness over the fact that it had entered into a pact with KIMI and looking forward to continuous cooperation. The collaboration between the two institutes will also provide opportunities to students in the global hospitality industry.
