KSET 2023 Postponed: New exam date announced
KEA has postponed KSET 2023 exam which was scheduled for November 26, 2023. As per the revised notice, KSET 2023 will be held on December 31, 2023 tentatively.
KSET 2023 Postponed: The Karnataka Examinations Authority (KEA) through a post on X (formerly Twitter) has notified the postponement of KSET 2023 Date. Earlier, the Karnataka State Eligibility Test was scheduled to be held on November 26, 2023. The KEA Executive Director S Ramya said that the decision to delay the examination is due to unforeseen circumstances and has released a tentative exam date. The revised KSET 2023 exam date is December 31, 2023 which will be conducted in offline (OMR-based) test mode.
The state assistant professor recruitment exam is held to recruit assistant professors in different colleges across the state. The KSET 2023 exam will be held in two shifts. Paper 1 will be held from 10 am to 11 am and Paper 2 from 12 pm to 2 pm. Paper 1 will comprise 50 Multiple Choice Questions of 100 marks while Paper 2 will include 100 questions (all compulsory) of 200 marks. Each question will carry 2 marks.
To pass the KSET 2023 exam, general or unreserved category candidates must secure at least 40% marks while SC, ST, PwD, and transgender categories must attain a minimum of 35%. Those candidates who will qualify for the state-level recruitment exam will be eligible to become a professor in several colleges across Karnataka. The registered applicants will be issued hall tickets 7 to 10 days before the commencement of the examination. Candidates must keep preparing for the exam well and are advised to regularly keep a check on the official website of KTET 2023 i.e., cetonline.karnataka.gov.in for examination or related updates.
