Lady Hardinge Medical College Gets Commemorative Stamp at its Centenary Celebrations
Minister of State for Health and Family Welfare, Smt. Anupriya Patel launched the stamp.
Lady Hardinge Medical College, New Delhi has received a Commemorative Postage Stamp on account of Centenary Celebrations on September 23, 2016. Minister of State for Health and Family Welfare, Smt. Anupriya Patel launched the stamp. The celebrations were attended by Member of Parliament, Smt. Meenakshi, Minister of State (Independent Charge) for Communications, Shri Manoj Sinha.
On this occasion Smt. Anupriya also released the Coffee Table Book. The book consists of rare photographs of the college since its inception and also has the photographs of dignitaries who visited the college and graced many important occasions. The book also contains the young photographs of senior faculty who have been working in the institute from years.

Addressing the students, she said that Lady Hardinge Medical College is one of the premier medical institutes in the country. The college has tremendous strength, and there is a need to develop infrastructure. The ministry has grand plans for modernising and redeveloping the college. She motivated the students to serve the people with zeal and sincerity. She concluded that the college would reach to greater heights of glory in the coming years.
On this occasion, she awarded the meritorious students with medals and facilitated the senior faculty members of the institute.
