Legal awareness camp at CUSB

A legal awareness camp was organized at the Central University of South Bihar in order to generate awareness of the legal rights of the people in the different strata of the society and help them in the various domains to become more empowered and strengthen their moral by providing them with a sense of security.

The Central University of South Bihar (CUSB) students who have been led by the faculty member Prof. Ahsan Rashid enthusiastically participated in the legal awareness camp. The awareness camp was organized at Gaya, by the Gaya district legal services authority. The aim of the camp was to generate awareness at the local level by using street plays.

The main focus of the camp was the women and women empowerment. The street play that was performed sought to highlight the atrocities on women in society. The play’s main focus was suggesting remedial measures for the harassments that the women face at different level. The atrocities faced by the women inside and outside the family.

The legal awareness camp at the Central University of South Bihar (CUSB) also aimed at making the women of the society of the rights which would help them to fight the harassments and the atrocities.
