The LSAC or Law School Admission Council Global has announced the LSAT Results and released the scorecard of the candidates on August 13, 2020. The result was prepared and declared based on the exam days from July 19, 2020, to July 22, 2020, and July 26, 2020, to July 29, 2020. LSAT India toppers are those individuals who score the highest marks in the entrance exam of law. The result for the qualified aspirants was measured on a band of 420-480. Those applicants who qualify the nation-wide popular entrance exam of law are considered for admission to the top law institutes and schools in India. Shailja Beria: Scaled Score of 480

Acquiring the highest scores on a scale of 420-480, Shailja Beria successfully secured 1 AIR (All India Rank). She also bagged the Topper’s Scholarship of ₹ 4 Lakh along with winning the top-most position in LSAT India. With a percentile of 99.96 in overall subjects, Shailja Beria performed exceptionally well.

As per the reports, Shailja has completed her intermediate from Sushila Birla Girls School situated in Kolkata, West Bengal.  She is eyeing the CLAT exam and is looking forward to taking admission in the Jindal Global Law School. She is also looking at exploring other options among 22 NLUs through CLAT.

Shailja shared that COVID-19 has been nothing but a distraction for her. However, in these tough times, support from her coaching mentor and closed ones kept here morale high. She also shared the secret of her success and claimed that regular preparation by reading newspapers and challenging material helped her in qualifying the comprehensive LSAT India exam with flying colours.

Shivansh Sinha: Scaled Score of 480

Shivansh also secured the same rank as Shailja with a scaled score of 480 and a 99.96% percentile. He also successfully got the Topper’s scholarship of LSAT India and believes that it will cover accommodation/hostel fees and tuition fee for the 1st year of a law programme. Shivansh was delighted to score so well in one of the most coveted law exams in India, LSAT. He will be considering the best options from the list of law colleges accepting LSAT India scores.

Apart from these two, Kiara D'Souza also bagged the 'Shamnad Basheer Access to Justice Scholarship’ in an essay competition held this year. Around 175 essay entries were received by LSAT and D' Souza's entry was marked as the best one.

In 2020, LSAT India was conducted via home-based online and remotely-proctored mode. A total of 5,667 aspirants successfully took the exam. Three extra days were also reserved for candidates who faced technical discrepancies and could not sit for the exam. Not only LSAT but plenty of exams were affected by the spread of coronavirus pandemic in the nation. Some entrance exams were even postponed or cancelled due to the COVID-19.
