List of Papers & Subjects for GATE 2023: Check Paper Names with Codes
IIT Kanpur has released the list of paper names and subject codes of GATE 2023 at the official website. Check the list of papers and their codes here. Also check the GATE 2023 exam pattern.
The Institute of Information and Technology (IIT) Kanpur has released the list of paper names and subject codes of GATE 2023 along with the exam pattern at the official notification/ brochure. GATE 2023 exam will be held for 29 papers. The candidates will be allowed to appear either in one or up to two papers of the GATE 2023 exam. The candidates can choose the second paper from the pre-defined two-paper combination list.
Each GATE 2023 paper will be a total of 100 marks. General Aptitude (GA) will be the common exam for all the papers (15 marks) and the remaining 85 marks will be covered for the respective syllabus. In the GATE 2023 exam, a total of 65 questions (GA: 10 questions and 55 Subject wise questions) will have to be answered in 3 hours.

The candidates should note that they will be assigned to appear for one of the sessions in case of multi sessional papers. The list of two paper combinations will be released later by the authorities. Before filling the GATE 2023 application form, the candidates should be aware of the paper code.
