The petition was filed due to the unorganised dates of different exams like National Eligibility cum Entrance Test-Undergraduate (NEET UG 2022), Central Universities Entrance Test (CUET) and Joint Entrance Examination (JEE).
A bench of Justice Sanjeev Narula will hear the plae for the postponement of the NEET 2022 exam i.e. filed through Advocate Mamta Sharma at 2:30 PM. According to the report, the petitioner claims that the dates of several exams were scheduled with significantly less gap, causing mental trauma and harassment.
The petition also states that the board exam ended in the month of June and students are now asked to prepare and appear for the three national-level examinations in the month of July. All the exams have a completely different syllabus that is making it difficult for the students to prepare well and appear for the exam with confidence. Apart from that, there is a devastating flood-like situation in the different states like Gujrat, Assam, Telangana and more.
