Many other boards also adopted the alternative evaluation for Class 10th and 12th board exams.

This year, CBSE has divided its board exams into two terms: Term 1 and Term 2. The Term 1 exams have been already conducted for which the results are still awaited. Term 2 exams are expected to start on April 26, 2022. The students have requested to either conduct board exams in online mode or adopt an alternate evaluation mode. The Supreme Court will make the final decision on February 22, 2022.
