Lucknow University has decided to bring evening classes for BBA courses from upcoming session . The university's department of business administration has decided to run two sections of 60 seats each for Bachelor of Business Administration (BBA) from academic session 2016-17,
While one section will run in the morning like other courses, the other will run as evening classes. The university introduced evening classes in 2005 which ran successfully till 2008, after which they were discontinued.
The Bachelor of Business Administration (BBA) is a three years (six semesters) full-time undergraduate degree program which prepares the students for careers in all walks of management endeavor. The rich blend of interdisciplinary and management subjects in BBA Program clearly distinguishes this program from other graduate degrees.
The learning environment facilitated in this programs with a mix of case studies, projects, business games, presentations, industry interaction etc. help develop the right attitudes, and soft skills so necessary in competitive business world. The program exposes students to organizational and practical settings through Summer Training and term projects. The potential of the students is nurtured as per their interest for securing placement or pursuing career in a particular sector.
Admissions will be made through LU Undergraduate Management Test's counseling. Counseling has been slated for June 4. The course will run in self-finance mode and its fees would be Rs 30,000. According to LU vice - chancellor SB Nimse university will run the evening classes from this current session.
