Lucknow University to Host its 62nd Convocation Ceremony in October

The 62^nd convocation of Lucknow University to be held on October 2019. NK Pandey, spokesperson of Lucknow University said that the University has decided to conduct the annual convocation in the month of October. However, the exact date is being deliberated upon. He also said that there are many recommendations from different departments for the awards that the administrative department of the varsity has to sort out.

The department heads are asked to submit the list of eligible students by September 5, 2019. Lucknow University awarded 192 medals last year. But the selection committee of the Lucknow University could not award ‘V-C’s Gold’ and ‘Chancellor’s Gold’ medals as there were no worthy candidates.

Lucknow University is a government university established in the year 1921. It is one of the oldest centers for Higher Education in India. LU has undergraduate and postgraduate courses in different fields such as Ayurvedic, Engineering, etc. The vision of the University is to spread knowledge through research, teaching, and innovation and to rank globally among the top institutions. Lucknow University has a separate Counseling and Placement cell (CPC). The CPC trains students to become better professionals and guides them in the right path.

Semester 1 & 2 exams for the undergraduate courses will be conducted in November and December. The LU administration asked the students to fill up the forms and submit it online for the semester 1& 2 examinations by October 15, 2019.
