Lucknow University Implements Online Fee Payment Option
- Lucknow University will implement online fee payment process from the academic session 2018-19.
- Students of UG and PG courses, existing and new, will be able to pay the fee using a unique login ID and password that will be provided to them.
The UG and PG students at Lucknow University need not stand in long queues to submit their course fee at the Cashier Officer. This year, every student will get a login for online payment of course fee. The University of Lucknow has come up with an initiative to implement the online fee payment system from the academic session 2018-19. Students who are already pursuing UG/ PG courses at LU, as well as, students who will be enrolled for the academic session 2018-19 can use the online fee payment system.

Earlier, the process of fee payment was lengthy and manual. Students were to fill the counselling form available at the cashier’s office, visit the concerned Head of the Department, get it signed and then submit it back to the cashier’s office along with the fee. The process used to consume a lot of time. With the implementation of the online process, students can complete their fee payment within minutes.

The certificate verification process will be conducted offline. New students will have to report to the HOD for verification of certificates before paying the course fee. The concerned HOD will verify the certificates and approve the admission of the student on the online portal. The online fee payment link will be activated after HOD ticks the student’s name in the ‘pass’ category.
Vice Chancellor of Lucknow University, Mr. SP Singh called for a meeting of all HODs on March 08, 2018, to explain the new process. Director of University Data Centre, Mr. Anil Mishra gave a detailed explanation of the online system.
