The Magadh University conducted the 4th day of the graduation 3rd-year exams on 8th April 2016. A meeting was held at the Patna branch office of the Magadh University. It is noteworthy that a few cases of the use of unfair means amongst the students have come to the light.
The meeting mainly focussed upon making the examination process more free and fair. The chief supervisor of the Magadh University examinations conducted a supervision at B.D College – Patna and caught three students involved in cheating in different manners. Also, the supervision teams with the help of the college’s administration have been able to catch student cheating with the help of chitin College of Commerce, Arts, and Science. The G.J College – Bihta has been able to catch students cheating with the help of Mobile phones. The students somehow sneaked in with phones, the supervision team took notice of the movements going on. A total of 12 students were not able to take the papers due to their involvement in the cheating activities.
Magadh University has taken several steps including the installation of CCTV camera in order to conduct free and fair exams. The meeting held at the Magadh University Branch office at Patna focussed on the reports provided by the supervision teams visiting different exam centres of Patna and regions nearby.
