Maharashtra DSD Option Form 2024: CAP Round 1 choice filling starts on August 6

Maharashtra DSD Option Form 2024: As per the official DTE schedule, all the Maharashtra State and All India candidates can start filling Maharashtra DSD option form 2024 from  August 6, 2024. Only aspirants whose names are enlisted in the final merit list can appear for the option entry process for Admission to Direct Second Year (Post SSC Diploma) in Engineering and Technology. The deadline for Maharashtra DSD option form 2024 is August 8, 2024. Since the option entry portal will be activated for only 2 days at dsd24.dtemaharashtra.gov.in. Therefore, candidates must exercise options within the stipulated time to avoid last-minute glitches.

Candidates can check the option entry dates of Maharashtra DSD 2024 in the following table.

Candidates are advised to check the seat matrix released by the authorities before prioritizing their choice of college and course.  When using the seat matrix, candidates should prioritize colleges with the most available seats for their category as their first preference. It's advisable to list out as many choices as possible, as there is no limit to the number of choices that can be filled out. 

Candidates must log in on the official website's ‘Candidate Login' Portal to complete the Maharashtra DSD Option Form 2024 before the end date. Fill up the options carefully according to your preferences. Then, click "Save" and "Submit" to save the selections. There won't be any more adjustments that candidates can make after the choices are locked. The candidate's choices will determine the provisional seat allocation of CAP Round 1, which will be displayed on August 10, 2024.
