Maharashtra HSC Mathematics Exam Pattern 2024: Mathematics is a prominent subject for which both science and commerce stream students. Maharashtra Class 12 Maths question paper has a weightage of 100 marks in total. According to Maharashtra HSC Date sheet 2024, the class 12th Mathematics and Statistics exam is scheduled for March 2. The question paper contains 34 questions of different answer types with internal choices in the paper. Maharashtra HSC Mathematics Paper Pattern 2024 Blueprint
Marks distribution for each type of question in the upcoming Maharashtra Class 12 Mathematics Marking Scheme 2024 has been shared below:
- Section A includes Q 1 having 8 MCQ sub-questions of 2 marks each. Common questions include questions from vector algebra, coordinate geometry, properties of triangle, integration, and differentiation.
- Q 2 include four sub-questions of very short answer type having 1 mark each. Each question has a specific number value as an answer. Topics from which these questions will be asked are Trigonometry, algebraic expressions, functions, etc.
- Section B contains 12 questions for 2 marks each. Out of these 12, only 8 have to be attempted. Basic derivations and expressions of trigonometric equations, 2x2 matrices, coordinate geometry, simple differential equations are expected.
- Section C also has 12 questions of 3 marks each out of which only 8 need to be answered. Questions including the distance between parallel lines, finding vector equation on a plane, second-degree differential equations, and calculus are anticipated.
- Section D contains the longest answerable questions of 4 marks each. Complex calculus equations, log equations are asked in this section.
