Maharashtra HSC Physics Exam Pattern 2024: Physics subject contains an overall weightage of 100 marks. However, the theory paper will be conducted only for 70 marks. According to the schedule, Maharashtra HSC Physics exam is scheduled for February 27 along with the Logics subject examination. The question paper includes 31 questions of different types with internal choices in the exam. Maharashtra HSC Physics Paper Pattern 2024: Marking Scheme

The details of each type of question and their marks breakup in each section has been shared below in the Maharashtra Class 12 Physics Marking Scheme 2024:

  • In Section A, Q 1 contains 10 MCQ-type sub-questions of 1 mark each. No question contains negative markings. In this question, the students need to write the full description of the correct option in their answer sheets.
  • Q.2 contain 8 very short answer type sub-questions having 1 mark each. The answer to these questions will include (70% theory and 30% numerical) based values.
  • In Section B, Q.3 to 14 are short answer type questions having only 8 questions to be answered. This part includes simple definitions, differentiation between two terms and basic derivations.
  • Q.15 to 26 include short answer type questions as well but of 3 marks each. Only 8 questions need to be answered. Common type of questions include: deriving expressions, drawing mechanical diagrams, wavelength numerical, etc.
  • Q. 27 to 31 are large answer-type questions and score to 4 marks each. Only 3 questions have to be answered. Examples: Circuit diagrams, galvanometer and other equipment with their mechanism, Broglie wavelength with numerical, etc.
