Maharashtra Medical Exams to be Under CCTV Scanner
Maharashtra University of Health Sciences will install CCTV cameras in all its 123 exam centres for the upcoming winter exam. The winter theory exam in the state for medical courses will take place on 27th November 2018.
Maharashtra University of Health Sciences revealed that all the 123 examination centres of the upcoming winter exam should have CCTV cameras. The proceedings of the exam will be recorded through CCTV cameras.
More than 51,000 students will appear in the health sciences examination. The winter theory exam in the state will take place on 27th November 2018. All the exam centres will have CCTV cameras installed to prevent cheating or malpractice. The initiative will ensure transparency in the exam system.

The university has come up with several majors such as strict dress code for candidates and the concept of the central room where candidates can keep all their belongings. The regulations will be very similar to that of National Eligibility Cum Entrance Test. Also, students who will be wearing scarfs and burkha will be checked in a proper manner by the concerned authorities. Only female invigilators and supervisors will be allowed to check the female students.

The varsity is slowly taking steps to adopt the online format for the examination. According to the varsity officials, there were many cheating cases in the past, and hi-tech security measures are essential to prevent such instances. Earlier, many cheating cases were reported by Maharashtra University. Therefore, the varsity is the introducing strict security system.
