Maharashtra M.Tech CAP 2022 Option Form Instructions
Important guidelines to go through before filling out the option form are as follows:
- The option form must only be filled out online at me2022.mahacet.org. Other forms of submission are invalid.
- As the seat allotment is based on choice-filling preferences, those who do not submit the option form are disqualified for the subsequent round. Such candidates can participate later in the next rounds.
- The option form submitted now is valid only for the first round, and before each round, the facility to edit/modify the option form will be provided.
- Candidates can edit the option form as many times as they wish before the last date or locking of the application form. If the candidate voluntarily locks/freezes their options, edits to them will not be allowed under any circumstances. Also, once the last date is over, the option form as saved then will automatically be locked.
- In case the candidate is allotted Preference 1, the allotment will be auto-freeze and the candidate must take admission at their preference 1 allotment. If not, such candidates will not be eligible for further counselling rounds. Thus, caution must be exercised while entering the first preference.
- For a better chance of allotment, candidates can refer to the previous year’s cutoff to list out their colleges.
- Also, candidates are advised to exercise as many options as they wish to avoid not getting a seat. A maximum of 300 options (institute branch) can be exercised.
- The seat allotment for Round 1 will be displayed on October 14.
