Maharashtra School Holiday Declared on July 26: As per the updated data of the IMD of July 26 morning, aRed Alert was issued for Mumbai City, Mumbai Surban, Palghar, Thane, Pune, Raigad, Nashik, and Satara.An Orange Alert is issued for Ratnagiri, Kolhapur, Chandrapur, and Gadchiroli. Schools in these districts are likely to remain closed but no official update has been received yet. Lonavala Municipal Administration will keep Lonavala schools shut today July 26, 2024, due to heavy rain. Hilly areas are expected to experience the most rain.
Primary and Secondary schools in Pune City, Pimpri, and Chinchwad will also be closed.
Schools inMumbai are also to remain closed, as per the official update by the BMC. Extremely high rain warning has been issued for the Mumbai region.
Since schools in Wada and Vikramgarh talukas in the Palghar district are closed today, they will most likely remain closed today as well as similar weather conditions are likely.
There will be a school holiday in government and private schools in Raigad.
