The detailed marks distribution for Maharashtra SSC English Marking Scheme 2024 has been shared below in the following points:
- Section A (Q.1) comprises of Language Study questions mainly having synonyms, antonyms, word meanings, jumbled words, sentence rewriting and more.
- Section B(Q2) contains vocabulary, grammar, and reading skills questions. Common questions asked in this section are question-making, analysing the unseen passage, and fill in the blanks.
- Section C or Q3 includes questions from the poetry section of the syllabus. Students need to read a given prose and answer the questions relating to it
- Section D is reading comprehension and includes an unseen passage out of which the sub-questions are framed.
- Section E (Q.5,6) has all questions from the writing part and the students will be asked to write formal/informal letters, data analysis, transfer of information type, and speech.
- Section F(7) is for creative writing in which the students need to write news reports, story narration, etc.
