The marks allotted to each question in the upcoming Maharashtra Class 10 History & Political Science Marking Scheme 2024 has been discussed below:

  • Q 1 contains 2 sections. First contains 4 MCQ-type questions of 1 mark each while the next 4 questions in Part B include Odd-one-out type of questions (Mostly one word) of 1 mark each.
  • Q 2 include parts as well from History and Political Science separately. Both parts have three Short Answer type questions of 2 marks each. Only two questions in each part have to be answered.
  • Q.3 also have similar pattern like Q.2 with questions having 2 marks each out of four internal choice questions.
  • Q.4 is a case-study-based question having sub-questions totaling 4 marks overall.
  • Q.5 comprises of four short-answer type questions of 3 marks each out of which only 2 need to be answered.
  • Q.6 is again an MCQ-based question of one mark each.
  • Q.7 has three questions asked in (True/False) format including an explanation. Each question is of 2 marks and only two need to be attempted.
  • Q.8 has two definition-based questions out of which only one needs to be answered. The weightage of the question is 2 marks.
  • Q.9 includes one out of two choices of 2 marks.
