Maruti Suzuki, AOTS Japan and IIT Guwahati Collaborate for Promotion of Tech Education
To facilitate the collaboration, an MoU was signed between the four organisations in front of Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Japan to India Satoshi Suzuki at IIT Guwahati
On Wednesday, Maruti Suzuki announced that it has joined hands with Association for Overseas Technical Cooperation and Sustainable Partnerships (AOTS), IIT Guwahati, and Suzuki Motor Corporation for the promotion of Tech Education. As per the statement issued by the company, the collaboration will be dedicated to facilitating the promotion of technical education and training in India and Japan.

Apart from this, the collaboration between the organisations will also promote research and study in terms of the next generation cutting edge technologies in both countries. To facilitate the collaboration, an MoU was signed between the four organisations in front of Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Japan to India Satoshi Suzuki at IIT Guwahati on Wednesday.
In context to the collaboration, Managing Director and CEO of Maruti Suzuki India stated that the collaboration will help to prepare the students about technical roles. Also, the exposure to the internship will help them prepare at local as well as global level. He further added that this collaboration is a fine example of students, academia and industries coming together to take technical education to the next level, creating new benchmarks.

Through the collaboration, an Automobile Engineering course will be created by Maruti Suzuki and MSI to train the students. Also, the Japanese language course will be offered to IITG students by AOTS. The eligible students will be given the opportunity to get placed in SMC's facility of Japan and in MSIL in India.
