Management Aptitude Test, which is popularly referred to as MAT, and is a gateway to more than 600 B-schools across India is conducted four times in a year. MAT February 2018 (Computer Based Exam) successfully begun on Saturday, 17th February 2018. The duration of the exam was 2.5 hours and it was held between 10:00 am to 12:30 pm. All India Management Association (AIMA), the apex body of the MAT exam, conducted the management entrance exam in 45 cities of India, spread across a large number of test centres.
If a candidate successfully clears the MAT exam, his/her score is usually considered valid for the next one-year, basis which they can apply for MBA or PGDM admissions in the best management colleges in India.

The MAT February 2018 exam had 200 questions in total which were divided equally into five sections. The questions were based on the areas such as Language Comprehension, Intelligence and Critical Reasoning, Mathematical Skills, Data Analysis and Sufficiency, Indian and Global Environment. MAT 2018 exam will also take into account negative marking.
