MAT Important Dates (May 2018): Result Announced
- MAT is a national-level entrance test, held for admission to MBA/PGDM programmes.
- It is conducted under the guidance of All India Management Association (AIMA).
- MAT is conducted four times in a year – February, May, September and December.
MAT Important Dates include the dates of all important events related to the exam, including registration date, admit card date, exam date and result date. The Management Aptitude Test (MAT) is conducted at the National-level for candidates who wish to pursue MBA/PGDM programmes offered at the some of the best B-Schools in India.
Conducted four times a year, MAT exam can be taken in both offline and online modes. Candidates can choose to appear for either Paper-based MAT Exam or Computer-based MAT Exam.

Candidates who successfully applied for the MAT exam were able to download the MAT Exam admit card. The admit cards are allotted only to those who register successfully for the examination. It is mandatory for the candidates to bring their admit card to the exam venue otherwise they are not given permission to appear for the exam.
The MAT result is announced within a month after the exam is conducted and it is declared online in the form of a scorecard. Candidates who clear the minimum cut-off are called for the further MAT Exam selection procedure, which may include Group Discussion, Personal Interview or Writing Ability Test. Once the entire admission procedure is complete, the final merit list is declared and it will include the names of shortlisted candidates.
