MBBS, BDS Counselling in Odisha to be Conducted by OJEE Committee, Process to Begin on 15th July
- The OJEE counselling process is expected to begin from 15th July 2017 onwards.
- The OJEE committee will also release the rules and regulations, the number of seats available and the procedure to secure admission by next week.
Candidates willing to seek admission in medical colleges in the state of Odisha will have to register for online registration that will be conducted by the official authorities of Odisha Joint Entrance Examination, also known as OJEE. Basis that, students will be granted admissions in the MBBS and BDS courses in Odisha. The OJEE counselling process is expected to begin from 15th July 2017 onwards.
The authorities will first release the merit list for the courses on the official website. CollegeDekho team will update you once it has been declared. Other details regarding the counselling process will also be released by the OJEE authorities soon basis which admission process of all government, as well as private medical colleges, will be done in the state.

The state of Odisha currently has more than one thousand medical colleges that offer MBBS and BDS courses. Out of the total number of seats on offer, 15% are filled through candidates who appeared for the NEET entrance exam. These seats will be filled through the counselling process which will be conducted by DGHS or Directorate General of Health Sciences, Odisha.

If all goes as per schedule, the OJEE registration process will begin on 15th July 2017 and conclude on 22nd July 2017. After that, the list of candidates eligible for admission will be published. The documentation process will then begin from 25th July 2017 and continue till 30th July 2017. Further, the first round of admission and seat allotment will begin on 9th August 2017. If seats are left vacant after that, a spot counselling round may also be conducted between 28th August to 30th August 2017. This schedule is tentative and may change. Stay tuned for updates!
