150 MBBS Seats Approved for Adesh Medical College
The Medical Council of India approved 150 MBBS seats in Adesh Medical College and Hospital. The institute can start admitting 150 students to its MBBS course from the session of 2019-2020.
The Adesh Medical College and Hospital in Mohri near Ambala, announced through a press conference that the Medical Council of India has given approval for 150 seats in the college for the admission of MBBS students. The management of the college declared this news.
Established by the Adesh Welfare Society of Sri Muktsar Sahib, Punjab, the Adesh Medical College and Hospital is located in the village of Mohri. The institute has been given the permission to admit 150 students for its MBBS course from the academic session of 2019-2020 onwards.

The Medical Council of India (MCI) gave the approval in a letter that was dated 3rd May 2019. The college management told that they received the approval after inspection and physical verification was conducted by MCI of the teaching faculty, infrastructure, staff, and resident doctors. The facilities of the college and of the associated teaching hospital were also inspected and were found to be in accordance with the norms.
The approval of MCI will enhance the medical education in that region and it will help the aspiring medical students of that area in pursuing the medical field. The Chairman of Adesh Welfare Society, Dr. Harinder Singh Gil, said that the institute is serving to provide good quality higher education in the field of dental and medical sciences, paramedical, nursing, physiotherapy, pharmaceutical, management, engineering as well as healthcare facilities at a reasonable cost.
The associated teaching hospital of the college has a bed capacity of 450 and provides all speciality and some super-speciality facilities of treatment including modern ICCU, ICU, NEURO ICU, RICU, SICU, Dialysis Units, Neonate Nursery, MRI, Operation Theatres, Mammography, CT Scans, etc. It offers round the clock medical aid and service to the residents of the area.

The principal of Adesh Medical College and Hospital, Dr. Bachchan Lal Bharadwaj, and the other faculty members were present during the press conference.
