MDU result 2023 are out for even semesters and entrance exams, i.e., MUDCEE. Students may check their MDU results 2023 online on the MDU official website.
MDU Latest Notifications
MDU Admissions 2023: UGC has granted permission to MDU Rohtak for starting six new online programmes. Students may take admission to these MDU online courses for 2023-24 session. Last date to apply for MDU PG admission is July 29, 2023. Online applications for MDU B.Ed and M.Ed admissions will remain open from July 27, 2023 till August 18, 2023. MDU reappearance forms will be available in September 2023. Last day to fill online hostel application form was July 31, 2023. MDU Rohtak will release 1st merit list for the concerned hostel on August 02, 2023.
MDU Rohtak has also released its MDU results 2023 for regular and online programmes for even semester and annual programmes. Students may check subject wise results on this page.
MDU results 2023 for MDUCEE for BCA, BCTM, LLB, BTTM, MA, and M.Com are out on the official website of MDU Rohtak. Students may check their scorecards at result.mdurtk.in. MDU examinations for even semesters have concluded and students may check MDU results 2023 for entrance exams and regular exams on their official website.
For taking admissions to MDU B.Tech courses, students apply on the HSTES portal on the basis of JEE Main score. However, registrations for B.Tech have concluded and its phase 1 seat allotment released. MDU accepts JEE Main scores for admission to its B.Tech programme.
MDU Rohtak has been accredited with an A+ grade by NAAC. The university offers 150+ courses across various streams and conducts MDUCEE, an entrance test for taking admission, every year.

How to Check MDU Entrance Exam Result 2023?
MDU results 2023 for various courses can be checked by following these steps:
Step 1 - Go to the official website of MDU Rohtak at https://mdu.ac.in/default.aspx.
Step 2 - Drag down the page and click on Admissions right below the fold. A drag down menu will appear.
Step 3 - Click on ‘Entrance Exam Results’ as shown below.
Step 4 - You may scroll down the list of results from the right hand of the website to reach the desired course.
Step 5 - You may download the MDU result 2023 by clicking on the ‘Download’ option on the right side.
MDU Marking Scheme
MDU marking scheme is based on Choice Based Credit System (CBCS) and Credit Based Semester System (CBSS) in which evaluation is done on the basis of theory, practical and non-credit course which includes extra-curricular activities.
Candidates must fulfil the following criteria to appear in exams and collect credits:
- The students must have attended 65% theory classes and 75% practical classes.
- Relaxation in attendance upto 20% may be given after it has been authorised by the HOD or principal.
- The language of instruction would be both Hindi and English
According to the MDU grading system, for passing the MDU examination, student must have:
- Secured 40% in theory exam
- 40% in internal or practical exam
- And 40% in aggregate in both theory and practical exam
So, if a student gets 32 or more marks out of 80 in theory is pass and whoever secures less than 40% in aggregate is considered fail and have to take exam next year through MDU reappearance exam. Here is the MDU grading system in detail:

Students may check their MDU result 2023 for regular and online courses through the following steps:
Step 1 - Reach the home page of MDU official website or directly through here.
Step 2 - Scroll the page to go down the fold. You will see a direct link for MDU results 2023 in red below datesheet.
Step 3 - Click on the red button for the result and it will redirect you to the following page.
Step 4- Enter your registration number and roll no to get the MDU results 2023. If you are not sure if the result is out, you may check the notification panel on the left side of the website. You will find the list of courses of which results have been declared by the university along with the date of declaration.

MDU Reappearance Form 2023
MDU reappearance form 2023 for odd semesters would be released in September 2023. The university offers its students to reappear for an examination where students were unable to pass their MDU result for any reason. To fill out the MDU reappearance form online, students are suggested to follow the instructions before filling the form and thereafter follow these steps to fill it:
Step 1 - Reach http://student.mdu.ac.in/index
Step 2 - Create your new account if not already created.
Step 3 - For creating a new account, click on the red button as shown
Step 4 - After entering your registration number, name, father’s name, mobile number, and email, click on ‘Send OTP’.
Step 5 - After entering the OTP, you will be redirected to create your login and password.
Step 6 - Come to the main registration page and login your account. You will be asked to enter your
- Address
- Biometric details
- Social details
- Education details
Step 7- After filling the details, you will be redirected to the next part of the application where you will choose:
- Exam Centre
- Course and paper
Step 8 - After filling these details, you will be directed to fill the fees through online mode. After filling the fees, you may print the application form.
Step 9 - You may view your details on the MDU reappearance form 2023 and logout. After retaking the exam, you may check MDU result for reappearance on the official website.
Important Instructions to Fill MDU Reappearance Form
- Give your correct mobile number to fill the form as it can only be used once to fill the form. Once you generate your login id and password, keep it safe.
- Enter the correct address and mobile number as filling in wrong or incomplete information may cause rejection of application.
- Choose your course, subject code and year correctly and check everything twice before paying the fee.
- If the MDU reappearance form is filled by providing the wrong information, it may get rejected or the student may have to fill the form twice. However, you may email at

When are MDU DDE exams conducted?
MDU DDE exams are conducted semester wise, i.e. twice a year. MDU Directorate of Distance Education for odd semesters like Ist, IIIrd, and Vth semesters are conducted in December and for even semesters like IInd, IVth, VIth semesters are conducted in May-Junee every year.
What is the datesheet for MDU exams?
Students may dowload the datesheet for MDU exams from their offical website or directly from https://mdu.ac.in/admin/EventPage.aspx?id=1059.
Can I correct my MDU exam form?
You may try correcting your MDU exam form once it is filled and submitted with requisite fees by writing to Helpdesk, Egovernace Cell, Ground Floor, DDE Building, Opp, Pariksha Sadan, MD University, Rohtak. But, this is not a suety that your form will be corrected. It is strongly advised that you read the important instructions carefully before filling any form or it may be rejected.
How much fee is chraged for MDU revaluation form?
Students have to pay Rs. 300 to 500 per copy to get their copies revaluated. MDU revaluation form will be open soon as MDU examination 2023 for even semesters have concluded and results released in July 2023. No chnage in marks is done for students whose result remains as failed even after revaluation. If any student secured as many marks as the topper after revaluation, he will also be leigible for the gold medal.
How to fill MDU reappear form?
MDU reappearance form can be filled from the examination section. Candidates may access it from the home page. First step would be to create an account if not created. The form can be filled by logging into your account and filling details like name, father's name, biometric details, course name, course code, address, education details. Please be mindful while filling the MDU reappearance form as filling in wrong details may cause rejection of your reappearance application.
What are passing marks for any course in MDU examinations?
Students must secure 40% in practical and 40% in theory independently and collectively. If you have secured 50% in your theory exam but failed in your practical exam or vice versa, you will be declared failed. So, MDU exam passing marks for a course with theory marks being 80 will be 32. In the event of getting failed result, students may get their copies revaluated or they may appear for the exam next year.
Can I check MDU result by name and father's name?
No, you may not check MDU result 2023 by name and father's name. Once you reach the result section, you will be asked to enter the registration number generated at the time of filling MDU examination form and roll no which would have been given to you when you took your first exam. Roll no of the student remains the same throught the course.
How to check MDU entrance result online?
MDU Rohtak conducts MDUCEE every year and releases MDU entrance result online. Students may check it by accessing the admission dropdown section on the homepage or directly from https://mdu.ac.in/admin/EventPage.aspx?id=1059. Once you reach this page, you may scroll down to find your result and download the MDUCEE result in pdf form.
When are MDU Admit cards results released?
After the exam notifcation is released, students may reach the official website and click on examinaion drop down menu. A link relating to MDU admit card is added in this section. As even semester exmas have been conlcuded, students can only see link relateing to reappearance admit card.
