A Medical research lab has been inaugurated at Hindu Pharmacy College, Guntur on 12-April-2016. The lab was inaugurated by Central Minister, Bandaru Dattathreya. College chairman, Dr.Mannava Radha Krishna Murthy gave the welcome address. He said, “The Acharya Nagarjuna University has granted recognition to Pharma Chemistry and Pharma Analysis departments of the college. So the college initiated a medical research lab for the examination and analysis of various medicines. The medical lab is equipped with all kinds of facilities which are essential for research”. He thanked the college faculty for their support and cooperation.
Addressing the students, Central Minister, bandaru Dattatreya said, “Research and analysis are the key parts in the Medical research. It is the responsibility of a pharma student to conduct research and present an analysis regarding various positive and side effects of a medicine. Students have to develop a logical way of thinking and positive attitude in pharma field. Students have to participate in various research activities which develop their knowledge and skills”. He felt that this medical research lab will be helpful for the students who wants to conduct research work.
The college management felicitated the chief guest. The inaugural session was attended by college faculty, students, Mayor of Guntur City, print and electronic media.
