Mega Job Fair at AKTU-Noida Campus on June 9 & 10

After a long time, the largest job fair is going to take place in Delhi-NCR region. The Noida campus of Dr. Abdul Kalam Technical University or AKTU is inviting 65 companies for the two-day mega job fair that will take place on June 9 & 10, 2017. These companies are likely to together offer hundreds of jobs in the field of business management, computer science and engineering.

Around 9,000 former and present students of the varsity are going attend the job fair. The job fair will begin at 9:00 AM at the Noida Centre of AKTU, C-22, Sector 62.

The job fair is open to the former and present students of AKTU who are pursuing final year/ or have completed B.Tech, MCA and MBA courses at AKTU, or affiliated colleges. Dr. Sanjeev Sharma, Advisor to Noida Centre of AKTU revealed that around 2,000 students have registered for the job fair so far. Around 50 companies have given the confirmation to take part in the job fair, and 15 more companies are yet to confirm.

AKTU has around 900 affiliated colleges. Out of them, 168 colleges are located in Ghaziabad and Noida. The following are some of the major companies that will take part in the job fair:-

• NIIT
• India Mart
• Omax
• Amazon
• HCL

Students (only AKTU & affiliated colleges) who wish to register for the job fair have to visit the official portal of AKTU. The applicants can choose three slots and three companies from any of the slots as per his/her priority. The candidates need to fill all their basic details and education details on the registration portal.

According to university, the minimum package would be around Rs. 1.3 lakh and the maximum package will be around Rs. 5.3 lakh. The average salary package will stand at around Rs. 3.4 lakh.
