Mega Job Fair at Vikas Engineering College Receives Huge Response

The management of Vikas Engineering College conducted Mega Job Fair at college premises on 21 and 22-May-2016. The job fair was open for all the graduates of engineering, commerce, sciences, arts, pharmacy and pass outs of intermediate of academic years 2013-2016. Despite of heavy rain the job fair received a gigantic response. The job fair commenced at 9.00 AM and continued till 5.30 PM. the job was open for all the eligible candidates of Krishna District.

The job fair was a grand success as a total number of 2,023 candidates attended the interviews. A total number of 54 companies took part in the job fair for the two days. Out of 2,023 candidates 872 candidates secured jobs in the final rounds of interview. The selected candidates were given offer letters by the College Chairman, N. Narsi Reddy. The college management has provided lunch for all the candidates. The candidates are offered the annual packages ranging from Rs.1,00,000 to Rs.4,00,000 depending on their qualification and skills. Each company has conducted the interviews according to the procedure.

College principal, Dr. Ramana said, “The job fair received a great response despite of heavy rain on Saturday. The college management has provided all the necessary facilities for the candidates. The college received a wide appreciation from parents and other colleges for conducting this job fair”.
