Mega Job Fair Conducted by Andhra Pradesh Government Received Tremendous Response
A total number of 60 companies participated for the recruitments on the day one.
The Government of Andhra Pradesh in collaboration with Ministry of Social Welfare and Vikas Organisation organised a two-day mega job fair at RVR & JC College, Guntur. The job fair was inaugurated by Mr. Ravela Kishore Babu, Minister of Social Welfare by lightening the lamp. The mega job fair commenced on August 26 and will conclude on August 27, 2016. The job fair is open to the graduates of various streams.
The job fair opened to a grand response. A total number of 60 companies participated for the recruitments on day one. A total number of 24,000 students have registered for this job fair. The target of the government is to provide employment for 5,000 students.

On the first day, a total number of 61 students have been selected for Google. Various national and multinational companies attended the job fair and selected around 900 students have been qualified in the initial rounds of interviews.
Addressing the media, Mr. Kishore Babu said, the government has already conducted job fairs in Krishna, East Godavari and Prakasam districts. So far, 19,500 students bagged jobs in these job fairs. The government is working consistently to provide employment to maximum number of students in the coming years.

The second day of the job fair also received a grand response. Details regarding the number of the candidates placed will be announced on Monday.
