Mega Job Mela at NEC

Reputed corporate companies, Amazon, Filpkart, Tech Mahindra, Software Technologies, ICICI Bank, HGS, Angel Broking, Spandana Spoorthi, Subagraha Projects India Private limited took part in a Mega Placement Drive conducted byNarasaraopet Engineering College, Guntur District. The Job Fair was conducted on 16-April-2016. The Job Fair was open for Engineering, MBA and MCA students of Guntur and surrounding areas. College director, Mitapalli Chakravarthy inaugurated the Mega Job Mela.

The job fair evoked a great response as 270 students from various engineering colleges came forward to participate in the mega job fair. Students took part in the preliminary test and group discussions conducted by various companies. The students are offered annual packages ranging from Rs.1,00,000 to Rs.3,50,000. Students participated actively and competitively in group discussion and face to face interview and exhibited their skills. The Job fair was a grand success.

College principal, Dr.B.V.Ram Mohan Rao said, “The College is planning to conduct another Mega Job Fair in the month of May. The motive of conducting these job fairs is to see that maximum number of students get placed not only from Host College but also surrounding colleges. Parents gave a positive response regarding Job Fair and appreciated the college management for the initiative”.
