IIT-PAL Lectures for JEE and NEET-UG Exam Preparation Available on NTA and SWAYAM Website
IIT-PAL lectures will train students for JEE and NEET-UG examination. The initiative will reduce the dependency of students on the coaching centres and save their money.
National Testing Agency (NTA) has made IIT-PAL lectures for JEE Main and NEET-UG exam preparation on its official website. The lectures will help the students in cracking IIT-JEE and NEET-UG entrance examination. Students can access video lectures of Physics, Mathematics, Chemistry and Biology. Students can also access the same lectures on the official SWAYAM website/ portal of HRD Ministry.

Students can access IIT-PAL lectures on their mobile phones, personal computer etc. Students can directly visit the SWAYAM website to access the online lectures. IIT professors will prepare these lectures that aim to provide good guidance to students. The initiative will reduce the dependency of students on the coaching centres and save their money. All that students need to have is an internet connection or mobile data.

According to sources, IIT-PAL will have more than 600 lectures in Mathematics, Biology, Chemistry and Physics.
During the 52nd IIT Council meeting that took on August 21, 2018, the MHRD has figured out a solution to reduce the dependence of students on coaching centres for IIT JEE entrance examination. Union HRD Minister, Mr. Prakash Javadekar has officially announced that IIT-PAL or the (Professor Assisted Learning) lectures prepared by IITs will be available on the SWAYAM portal of MHRD.
Apart from introducing IIT-PAL on SWAYAM platform, HRD Ministry announced that IITs are responsible for mentoring at least five engineering colleges located in their locality to improve the standard and quality of engineering education in the country.

During the IIT Council meeting, it was also confirmed that there would no changes in JEE Advanced exam pattern. IIT Council also rejected a proposal to scrap JEE Advanced exam.
