MHT CET Counselling 2023: The State Cell, Maharashtra has released the official notification for online registration, scanning & uploading of documents, document e- verification, or physical verification depending on the verification mode selected by the candidate on the official website- fe2023.mahacet.org.This year, the exam authority has introduced an E-Scrutiny, and Physical Scrutiny of the documents by selecting any one mode for verification of documents. For the EScrutiny mode, students do not have to visit the institute personally for verification and confirmation of the form whereas, for Physical Scrutiny, they are required to visit the nearest Physical Scrutiny Centre.

Candidates are advised to go through the important instructions stated below regarding online document uploading and verification:
- Applicants who fail to confirm the application form filled in online mode by the E-Scrutiny center and Physical Scrutiny Center, such applications will be rejected and will not be considered for the preparation of the merit list for admission to CAP as well as the NonCAP seats
- Reserved categories like SC, VJ/DT (NT (A), NT (B), NT(C), NT (D), OBC, SBC, and EWS candidates must produce a “Caste Validity Certificate” while the ST category must submit “Tribe Validity Certificate” and backward category candidates excluding SC & ST have to submit “Creamy Layer certificate” valid up to March 31, 2024.
- If aspirants fail to produce the required certificates as per their category during the verification process will be treated as GENERAL category CAP Admissions.
- Eligibility Certificate must be produced by the Economically Weaker Section candidates as per the specified format by Maharashtra State Government (dated- February 12, 2019 only)
- Candidates belonging to the Union Territory of Jammu and Kashmir and the Union Territory of Ladakh Migrant will receive the Receipt-cum acknowledgment from the Scrutiny center after the confirmation of application through their login details. Also, applications submitted by such candidates after the deadline will be rejected.
- In case the reserved category applicants are unable to submit the specified documents due to the verification process are required to pay Rs 200 via online mode.
- All the original category certificates must be uploaded and verified at Physical Scrutiny Center or E-Scrutiny on or before the third round. Otherwise, the admission will be cancelled automatically and they will be treated as Open category candidates.
- The complete schedule pertaining to option form filling and CAP allotment will be published on the official website shortly.
