MHT CET Merit List 2024 LIVE Updates: The State Common Entrance Test of Maharashtra will release the provisional MHT CET Merit List 2024 that will have the ranks of registered candidates for Maharashtra B.Tech CAP admission 2024. The link to download the merit list will be activated at fe2024.mahacet.org through the 'Candidate Login' and PDF format. The direct link to download the Maharashtra B.Tech Merit List 2024 will be available here as well. Candidates who completed the document verification and application form confirmation process successfully before the last date will be considered for the provisional merit list. The candidates need to keep their 'Application ID' and 'Date of Birth' details ready to download the merit list.

CET Cell will release a merit list separately for the Maharashtra state and for AI candidates (who registered through JEE Main 2024). Along with it, the candidates will find a merit number. If the candidates do not find any merit rank in the list, they can raise a grievance between August 4 and 6, 2024 (till 5 PM). Based on that the authority will release the MHT CET final merit list on August 8, 2024. 

If the candidates need to submit grievances on the provisional MHT CET merit list 2024, then they should do it via their login. For the same, the candidates should upload requisite documents to substantiate the claim. Candidates do not forget to take a printout of the receipt cum acknowledgement after submitting the online grievances.

  MHT CET Merit List: When will CAP Round 1 start?

  The authority has not yet declared the official date of MHT CET CAP Round 1 counselling. It will be declared soon on the official website. Considering the previous year's trends, it can be assumed that the CAP Round 1 will start on August 10, 2024 (tentatively), with the release of the seat matrix. Candidates who participate in the choice-filling process should refer to the college-wise seat matrix.

  Students whose names will be shown in the MHT CET merit list, and will be assigned a unique merit rank, will be eligible to participate in the CAP Round 1 counselling process.

  MHT CET Merit List: How will merit rank be assigned?

  If two or more students obtain same marks, then the authority will follow the tie-breaking policy. For the same, the following rules will be considered.

  • Higher marks obtained in Mathematics in CET
  • Higher marks in Physics in CET
  • Higher marks in Chemistry in CET
  • Higher percentage obtained in Board (or equivalent qualifying exam) for Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics together
  • Higher percentage obtained in HSC Mathematics
  • Higher percentage obtained in HSC Physics
  • Higher percentage obtained in HSC in all subjects

  MHT CET Merit List 2024: Will seat allotment be done based on State General Merit Rank?

  The authority will publish the MHT CET seat allotment result in the following categories:

  • Home University
  • State level
  • Other University

  Note, that for the state-level seat allocation, the authority will consider the State General merit rank.
